Meet your local English-speaking guide and explore “the most beautiful city in the world,” as its citizens proudly proclaim–a place where history reveals itself around every corner! The city has been inhabited by many different civilizations since it was first populated by the citizens of nearby Salona. Learn about the various cultures from your guide as you walk through the ancient city. After sightseeing, enjoy some Dalmatian delicacies at one of the numerous restaurants in the city center. After lunch continue to Trogir, the historic city founded in the third century B.C. Walk through Trogir old town which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit St. Lawrence Cathedral, built in the 12th century, and the famous Kamerlengo Tower.  Return to Split and re-board your cruise.
