Get to know Oslo, the capital of Norway. Enjoy the unforgettable sights of the tall mountains shrouded in mystery, and the deep fjords where the Vikings once roamed. Take a ride on the famous Flam railway, which passes through magnificent scenery. Explore the old Norwegian capital, Bergen, spectacularly set amidst a sheltered harbor of the North Sea, surrounded by seven hills.
Arrive at the airport in Oslo. Transfer to the hotel under own arrangement. Optional private transfer by sedan upon request at additional cost. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Pick up your Oslo Pass (24 hours ticket) at redemption desk.

A knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the city’s atmosphere while you admire the main attractions in downtown Oslo. At Holmenkollen Ski Jump you will experience a fascinating insight into the Norwegian history of skiing and admire wonderful views over the city. Browse the unique Vigeland Sculputure Park and get in touch with the art of the most prolific Norwegian sculptor (more than 200 bronze and granite sculptures).
Optional afternoon tour – Oslo Fjord Sightseeing
The tour passes through narrow sounds, idyllic bays, and through a maze of islands with small summer houses. Oslo, with its superb location, offers unique opportunities on and around its fjord which stretches almost into the city center. Discover the scenery on a sightseeing boat. Sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so that you can capture the capital on camera from different angles. See the Opera House in Oslo, the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet House in Bjørvika inner Oslo Fjord, which has been named Kirsten Flagstads place 1 after the opera’s first director Kirsten Flagstad. The boat passes close to the peninsula of Bygdøy, housing many interesting museums as well as beaches, such as Huk Bay. See the Maritime Museum with its veteran sailing ships moored outside, and the impressive Fram Museum, housing the polar ship of the same name.

Take a taxi to the train station, where your journey to the Fjords begins. Travel by train from Oslo to Myrdal. Upon arrival, change trains and continue the tour on the famous Flam Railway, a renowned attraction. The train takes you through the most beautiful landscape in Norway. Along the way you will experience lush fjord landscapes, steep mountains, spectacular waterfalls and snow-covered mountains.

Optional morning tour – Fjordsafari
This tour will take you through the Aurlandsfjord; pass Beitelen, a characteristic mountain which divides the Sognefjord into two branches, and enter into the Naeroyfjord. Stop at the famous waterfall Sagfossen, which is also the turning point of the tour. You will have a beautiful view of the dramatic Naeroyfjor. During the tour, the boat will stop at different attractions, where you may spot wildlife and learn about the fascinating natural and cultural history of the area. The tour operates in the summer season between June and August daily.
In the afternoon continue your tour to Bergen via Gudvangen by boat. In Gudvangen, change to a comfortable coach and travel to Voss. During the tour you will have the chance to admire the beautiful scenery and enjoy the nature and peace. From Voss you will start the last part of this excellent journey to Bergen by train
In the evening you arrive in Bergen, the second largest city of Norway, situated among seven hills.

Enjoy a morning Fjord cruise to Mostraumen. On the way from Bergen you will have a great view of the famous Bryggen and the old city of Bergen. Furthermore, you will sail under Nordhordalandsbrua and on the Osterfjord. When you approach Mostraumen, the fjord becomes more narrow and you will be surrounded by steep mountains. Sail past several waterfalls and if you are lucky, you catch the spray of the fresh mountain water.

Bergen Card is the practical and reasonable way to explore Bergen, the City of Culture. With a Bergen Card in your pocket, you travel free on Light Rail and buses in the city and the region. You get free or discounted admission to museums and attractions, as well as many cultural events, various sightseeing tours, restaurants and parking. Exchange your voucher at the redemption desk at Tourist Information Bergen Strandkaien 3 during the opening hours, from 09:00am to 04:00pm.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bergen as you make your way to the airport and your onward or homeward bound flight. An optional transfer may be arranged by request for an additional cost.
