Continue to the island of Djurgården, home to what is considered to be the most visited museum in Scandinavia.  Your destination is the Vasa Museum, housing the only almost fully intact 17^th century ship that has ever been salvaged.  The wooden warship Vasa sank during her maiden voyage in 1628 and sat on the bottom of Stockholm’s harbor until it was raised 333 years later.  It is an amazing sight and the museum offers superb insight into Swedish maritime history.   Transfer back to your cruise ship.
